Tributes have been paid to a former councillor who died last week.

Joan Knight, 89, died on Wednesday January 16 following a long illness.

She represented Hatfield Ward from 1979 until standing down in 1994. Hatfield Ward Councillor and daughter-in-law of Joan, Cllr Pat Knight said: “Joan was a true community champion.”
