A TOWN centre street has been closed off while paramedics treat an elderly woman.

Scot Lane was temporarily closed to traffic at about 1pm to allow access for an ambulance.

South Yorkshire Police confirmed the lady had collapsed.

She was not injured in any kind of collision with a vehicle.
