BIG-HEARTED youngsters at South Axholme Academy helped to collect vital aid and gifts to send to deprived youngsters abroad.
They gathered more than 100 shoe boxes full of items such as soap, toothpaste, sweets and small toys.
They gave up their free time to help teacher Laura Greaves to co-ordinate the project.
They will be sent to developing countries as part of the Samaritans Purse annual appeal to ensure young people all over the world have a better Christmas.
Miss Greaves praised the students for all of their hard work. She said: “It was a great effort from everyone involved at the school and was a fun way for the pupils to learn while helping a great cause.”
