Protestor arrested at Lib Dem conference
A DONCASTER man was arrested after taking part in a protest on a city centre bridge close to the Liberal Democrats conference.
The 21-year-old unfurled a banner on the crossover in Broad Street, Birmingham, on Saturday afternoon.
Police said these actions caused debris to fall into the road creating a hazard to pedestrians and motorists.
He has been charged with causing danger to road users along with two other men, a 19-year-old from Leeds and a 22-year-old from Hampshire.
The trio were set to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Monday.
