Percy, 89, gets a belly-full of the Keepmoat!

MEALS on Wheels customer Percy Pyle was treated to a day out with Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium to highlight the benefits of the home delivery service.

It was the first time the 89-year-old, of Adwick, had been to the new stadium and after having a good look round he received two match tickets for himself and his daughter.

Mr Pyle, who has a meal delivered every day by Park Care Meals, was helping to promote National Meals on Wheels week which starts on Monday (October 1).

Park Care Meals director Rik Shipley said: "We deliver 200 hot meals at lunchtime every day of the year. Meals on Wheels is important in helping people to remain in their own homes and still enjoy a healthy diet."

The two-course meals cost 4.50 and anyone interested can contact Park Care Meals manager Trevor Boswell on 01302 365365.
