New date arranged for talks over town plan

COUNCILLORS have re-arranged the dates for a drop in session on plans to redevelop Mexborough town centre.
A meeting had been arranged for Thursday, February 28, but this will now take place on Tuesday, February 26, from 2pm until 7pm, at Mexborough Resource Centre.
Councillor Sue Phillips said: “We changed the dates because a number of traders expressed concern that they would not be able to attend the original meeting.”
Plans will be displayed including artists impressions on how to use a cash windfall to improve the market and High Street area.
A decision on the town redevelopment will be made immediately after the meeting.
