Mayor set to be quizzed
MAYOR of Doncaster Peter Davies is to be grilled later this month by some of the town’s older residents at a special meeting.
The mayor will address the Doncaster University of the Third Age group on February 19, taking questions from the floor during his speech.
The question-and-answer session has been organised by the group which is open to retired and semi-retired people living in the Doncaster area.
Members stage a wide variety of groups and activities, ranging from history to criminology, with guest speakers delivering talks on a wide variety of topics.
The Q&A with the mayor will take place at the Trades and Labour Club in the Frenchgate Centre from 2pm and is open to the public. Admission is £1.50.
