A group of hardy Isle athletes will be running almost two marathons at once to raise money for a very good cause.
Chris Payne, of Graizelound, Neil Rowland, of Epworth, and Julian Moorhouse, of Epworth’s Metres to Miles, are in training for the 50 mile Peatland Way run on March 24, for charities including the British Limbless Ex-servicemens’ Association (BLESMA) and Lives first responders in the Isle. Anyone wishing to sponsor the runners can do so via http://www.justgiving.com/Neil-Rowland1 or at Metres to Miles in Epworth. Many other runners from across the Isle will be supporting the runners by running shorter stretches. Pictured are Chris Payne, Neil Rowland and Julian Moorhouse.
