YOUNGSTERS in Epworth have joined forces to beat the bullies.

Children at South Axholme Academy and Epworth Primary Academy are taking part in North Lincolnshire Council’s Anti-Bullying Week. This year’s theme is ‘we’re better without bullying’ and is looking at the impact bullying has on childrens’ education.

Special assemblies, workshops and selling Beat Bullying wristbands to raise money for charity are among the activities taking place..

An awards celebration is due to be held at the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe on Monday.
