Drugs seized in Mexborough by police
POLICE recovered drugs from a house in Mexborough as part of a day of action to combat burglary.
Officers executed a search warrant at an address on Hills Close which led to the seizure of 100 cannabis plants. One man was arrested on suspicion of the production of cannabis.
As part of the operation last week, police searched 14 properties across Doncaster relating to burglary or stolen goods, and conducted two road policing operations to identify and stop vehicles and occupants suspected of involvement in cross-border crime.
Temporary Detective Sergeant Andy Shields said: “We had a successful day in Doncaster, targeting the individuals who believe they can commit crime and cause misery within our communities.”
