Dress dream coming true
A TEXTILE student who won a competition to design her dream dress for the prom has witnessed her glamorous creation begin to take shape.
Danum textiles student Laura Denman, 18, is sure to be the belle of the ball with her one of a kind dress made by the skilled team at It's Bliss Bridal and Evening Wear.
Laura, who won the Free Press competition, was thrilled to see the dress taking shape after being involved in the whole process from sketching her dream dress to choosing the fabric. The wannabe designer is now eager to show off the creation at her school prom on June 25.
Laura, of Palm Grove, Conisbrough, is hoping the whole experience could be the start of a career in fashion and she now plans to study costume design at the University of Huddersfield.
