Doncaster fire starts in microwave
South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service.
FIRE crews were called to a property in Edlington, Doncaster, last night after a pensioner tried to dry some clothing in a microwave oven.
The clothing caught fire but by the time firefighters arrived at the property in Lake Close the flames were out.
The elderly occupant did not suffer any injuries, said a spokesman for the fire service.
