Doncaster charity shop to close

A CHARITY shop in Doncaster town centre will close its doors this weekend.
The DEBRA charity shop - which raises money for those who suffer from a rare genetic skin condition - in the Waterdale Shopping Centre will cease trading tomorrow.
Maureen Nickson, head of retails for the charity, said: “At DEBRA we review our shops on a regular basis. We are looking to expand our lease hold shops and have a strategy in place for that.
“We would like to thank everyone who has supported this shop and we do hope that they continue to support our other shop in Doncaster at 79b Sandringham Road.”
Money raised by DEBRA shops enables DEBRA to offer specialist care and support to people and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa and gives hope to the future by funding research to find effective treatments and ultimately a cure for EB.”
