HEALTH staff in Doncaster are gearing up for an event ensuring that people in care are treated with dignity.

National Dignity Action Day takes place in February and staff at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust will play their part with a series of activities and events to raise awareness of the importance of dignity in healthcare.

RDaSH dignity project worker Debbie Hackett said: “I’m delighted with the energy and enthusiasm that staff have demonstrated with their pledges. We aim to provide a truly memorable day for service users and patients.”

A workshop will be held to communicate the message while others will celebrate with a memory box, bringing in special items, personal to them to share with others.
