THE following people have appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court charged with the following offences.
BENTLEY: It was a swift mistake in the Suzuki that Victoria Louise Kenny was driving after running a red light that has left her £115 out of pocket. The 34-year-old, of Appleton Way, admitted the February 23 offence and received a £60 fine, costs of £55 and three points on her licence.
HYDE PARK: It was a hefty bar tab for Chantelle Charles who had to stump up £200 for breaching a drinking ban. The 26-year-old living in Sandbeck House, was caught drinking alcohol in Doncaster town centre on August 2. She pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £100 and ordered to pay £100 costs.
EDLINGTON: A 49-year-old received a meaty 22-week sentence for stealing ham and other goods. David Patrick Smith, of Edlington Lane, pleaded guilty to nicking two bottles of whisky from the town’s Co-op store on July 7, stealing 14 packets of ham on July 13 from a Co-Op in Warmsworth and meat and other items from Balby’s Asda store on July 31. He was ordered to pay £35.90 to the Edlington Co-Op, £44.10 to the Warmsworth store and £186 to the Asda Springwell Lane store in Balby.
TICKHILL: Karen Revitt had a sobering experience after being disqualified from driving for 19 months after she was caught twice over the limit. The 46-year-old from Stripe Road, was caught driving a Mitsubishi Shogun on July 22 with 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. She admitted the motoring offence, was fined £400 and paid costs of £100 as well as the disqualification.
