North Lincolnshire Council’s Community Support Team (CST) has been awarded the highest possible rating by the Care Quality Commission after an unannounced inspection.

The team was assessed in five areas: involvement and information; personalised care, treatment and support; safeguarding and safety; suitability and staffing; quality and management. Ratings are excellent, good, poor or adequate to compliant, non-compliant minor, moderate or major. The team received the highest possible rating - compliant - for all five areas.

CST is a domiciliary care service that provides support to people who live in their own homes. This includes people that have been in hospital, registered care or have had a period of illness. Staff assist individuals to return to as high level of independence as possible.
