Commuters facing travel disruption following downpours
RAIL passengers could face disruption to their journeys today because of flooding.
The downpours have affected services between Doncaster and Sheffield and the following changes have been released by National Rail Enquiries:
* Northern Rail - buses will replace trains between Doncaster and Swinton, with journey times extended by up to 30 minutes. Passengers are advised to travel via Wakefield Westgate.
* First TransPennine Express - buses replace trains between Doncaster and Sheffield, with journey times extended by up to 40 minutes.
* CrossCountry - trains will be diverted and will not call at Doncaster.
