CLEANING ADDICT IS WIFE SWAP STAR

A SELF-CONFESSED cleaning freak from Intake has become the latest star of Channel Four's Wife Swap programme.

And for Dawn Eastell, 36, the swap to the Edinburgh home of a comedienne, screened last night, was "life changing".

She is now back at the immaculate semi-detached home in Warren Close she shares with her partner Garry, 32, and children Kirstie, 11, Lewis, 12 - and with a more "chilled out" attitude to life.

The messy state of her Scottish counterpart's house came as big shock to Dawn, who loves ironing and re-makes beds until they are perfect. And she didn't hit it off with her swap "husband" Allen during the ten-day trip.

She said: "He kept throwing paper at me when I used the air freshener because he said it harmed the children."

Meanwhile, back in Doncaster, Dawn's partner Garry Walsh, 32, had the company of Jo-Jo. He said: "I got along with her OK, but the show probably proved otherwise. I think the programme tried to break me at times with its Big Brother-like situation. I'm a Donny lad so that wasn't going to happen."

But Dawn, who works in a Hyde Park tanning parlour, soon got back to work on her house - cleaning up again after finding it left in a mess by Jo-Jo.
