POLICE are investigating a man’s death and an early morning blaze at a Barnsley bungalow.

Emergency services were alerted to a fire on Treelands, in Gawber, Barnsley at 4.05am this morning.

The dead man found at the property is believed to be in his early 50s.

Fire investigators and police are at the scene this morning in a bid to determine the cause of the fire.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 121 of 28 May, 2012.
