BREAKING NEWS: Murder investigation launched at Darfield

A WOMAN has died and a man arrested on suspicion of murder, at Darfield, Barnsley.
The tight-knit Darfield community is in shock after a 35-year old woman was found dead at a home on Upperwood Road, by police who were called to the property at 4.20pm yesterday.
A 42-year old man with stab injuries was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was taken to hospital from the scene, where he remains today and is said to be in a stable condition.
Police are appealing for information about the incident that has become a murder inquiry.

A post-mortem is scheduled to take place later today, to establish exactly how the woman died.
