Former Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp has chosen the Keepmoat Stadium to host the inaugural charity dinner for charity set up in memory of his son.

The Luey Jacob Sharp Foundation event, which is taking place at the Keepmoat Stadium on Wednesday November 14, will see a number of special guests attending including Matt Le Tisser.

The charity was set up by Billy Sharp and his partner Jade Fair in memory of their son Luey Jacob Sharp, who died last year just two days old.

The Luey Jacob Sharp Foundation has been established to make a difference to families affected by Gastroschisis.

The dinner at the Keepmoat will be the first event held in aid of the charity.

Jade Fair, Chief Executive of the Luey Jacob Sharp Foundation, said: “We are really looking forward to the charity dinner and especially coming back to the Keepmoat Stadium.

“The Rovers fans were so supportive of Billy and I, and it is our way of saying thank you to them by having the event in Doncaster.”

Tickets for the event, which includes a fantastic three course meal, are priced at £40 +VAT per person and are available from Doncaster Rovers FC.
