Bentley murder victim named
Karl Smith, 25, of Broughton Avenue, Bentley.
DETECTIVES have identified the Doncaster dad whose death has sparked a murder probe.
Tributes are being paid to Karl Smith, 25, of Broughton Avenue, who was found collapsed in Bentley on Saturday night.
He was believed to have suffered head injuries in a fight earlier in the evening at The Drum in Watch House Lane.
A post mortem was conducted yesterday but further tests are necessary to identify the cause of Mr Smith’s death.
The 18-year-old local man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
