Arsonists start garage fire

A GARAGE wall collapsed following a deliberately-started fire last night.

The blaze was started by arsonists inside a brick 6 x 3 metre-sized detached garage in Norman Crescent, Rossington, which led to three-quarters of it collapsing.

Doncaster firefighters were called to put out the fire just after 2pm yesterday.

Doncaster Council has also sent staff to do structure repairs, a spokesman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.

There was nobody inside the garage at the time.
