EPWORTH superstar Sheridan Smith has picked up another award.

The actress, who used to appear on the stage at Doncaster Civic Theatre as a youngster, took the best actress award in the Whatsonstage.com Awards.

Sheridan, who has previously won two Olivier awards for her stage roles - took the title for best actress in a play in recognition of her portrayal of Hedda Gabler at the Old Vic in London.
