Book lovers and budding authors got together to celebrate the launch of the third annual Turn the Page literary festival in Doncaster.

Crime author Stephen Booth, a library champion in support of the UK’s ‘Love Libraries’ campaign, officially opened the festival at a ‘Victorian Murder Mystery’ event at the end of March in Doncaster Central Library,

The event was followed by a talk by author Lauren Owen about her supernatural romance book ‘The Quick’.

The weekend-long festival included a range of creative craft sessions and meet and talk to an illustrator events. Visitors to the town’s libraries also found out how to produce a radio show.
