Nine staff from Atherton Godfrey are gearing up to run the Ikano Half Marathon in Nottingham on Sunday.
The 13.1 mile track will take the runners on a route around some of the best known venues in the city including the castle, Trent Bridge cricket ground and Nottingham Forest Football Club before finishing at Victoria Embankment.
The team are hope their efforts will raise much needed funds for Aurora, a local charity dedicated to providing support for people undergoing or recovering from cancer treatments.
Charles Godfrey, the firm’s senior partner who is also running with the team, said: “Running such a distance is a test of mental strength as well as physical fitness.
“Some of our team have taken on the challenge to deliberately focus on improving or maintaining their fitness level whilst others are hoping to achieve a personal best along the way.”
