Leading local charity, M25 Housing & Support Group, has launched a new key cutting service, adding to its growing list of social enterprise activities in the borough.

Part of the Group’s Letting & Estate social enterprise, the key cutting service aims to benefit landlords, tenants and homeowners by providing a while-you-wait service and discounts on multiple orders with all profits from sales going directly back into the charity.

Explains Joyce Foster, executive director at M25 Housing & Support Group: “We’re already offering property owners a wide range of professional services through M25 Lettings & Estate and the key cutting service is a perfect ‘add-on’ as we know just how many keys landlords can get through!”

Continues Joyce: “It’s also ideal for local people living and working in Doncaster who want to get new keys cut and make a direct contribution to the work we’re doing on a daily basis to prevent homelessness.

“Prices start at £2.50 per cylinder type key or 2 for £4.00 and £3.50 per mortice type key or 2 for £6, and we're also offering a discount on a new key cutting for anyone bringing in an old key to hang on our ‘Key Tree’ in reception. We also have a loyalty card available that rewards multiple purchases with free keys.”

Concludes Joyce: “Getting a new key cut and helping to end homelessness in Doncaster couldn’t be simpler and it all starts by popping into our M25 Lettings & Estate office at 2 Sunny Bar in the town centre – we’re in the old offices of the Doncaster Free Press. We look forward to seeing you.”
