A Doncaster based computer superstore has a lot to celebrate this week after reaching a repair milestone that’s out of this world.

ACS, based on Wheatley Hall Road, has notched up 500,000 repairs of laptops, printers and PC’s since its store and technical centre opened in 2005.

Rosie Winterton MP and mascot Techno Man were on hand to help the IT superheroes celebrate in style as they both received a tour of the facilities and spoke with staff from various departments.

Kevin McEwen, ACS managing director said: “We are extremely excited about reaching the repair milestone which firmly illustrates our stores renowned reputation for being technical experts in our field.

“I would like to thank Rosie and Techno Man for both joining us and helping us celebrate”

Doncaster Central MP Rosie Winterton said: “For many years ACS has helped many of my constituents in Doncaster with their computer needs, including repairs and diagnostics, and through community engagement has supported the next generation of IT excellence in over 100 local schools in the borough.

“I would like to congratulate them on this fantastic milestone and look forward to hearing about what the future holds.”

Not only does ACS offer a repair service and retail superstore but also provides technology advice and support across Yorkshire and currently manages in excess of over 300 school contracts.
