Doncaster fire round-up: Rubbish and car blazes

South Yorkshire firefighters were called out to three separate blazes overnight.

Crews from Doncaster were called out to a rubbish and grass fire on Cherry Tree Lane, Hexthorpe, at 7.30pm last night.

The fire has been recorded as deliberate.

Officers from Thorne were also called to another rubbish fire on Kings Way, Stainforth, at 8.15pm.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

Elsewhere, crews from Adwick were called to a car fire on Ings Lane, Skellow at 1.05am.

The Peugeot was burnt out by the time officers arrived on the scene, and they were not able to identify the model of the car.
