Wedding ‘couple’ Jamie and Amy Eidsrkrem-Hughes steamed into London with a ticket to rhyme alongside acting legend Bill Nighy.

The performers from Doncaster Little Theatre headed to the capital to recreate a train journey which inspired one of acclaimed poet Philip Larkin’s most famous poems.

The service, from Hull to London King’s Cross, featured actors performing excerpts from Larkin’s 1964 poem The Whitsun Weddings – with recorded lines from Nighy, music and other theatre troupes adding to the entertainment en route to the capital.
