DONCASTER Dome’s pool is set to close for a month in November for routine maintenance.
The pool will be closed from Monday until November 30 and re-open to the public on December 1.
The Dome will be open as normal during this time and all other activities at the venue, including the ice rink, will not be affected by the temporary swimming pool closure.
The eight swimming pools at DCLT’s other leisure venues across the borough remain open, including St James Leisure Centre and Armthorpe Leisure Centre.
Michael Hart, chief executive of DCLT, said: “We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience the temporary closure of the swimming pool will cause due to essential maintenance work.
“We have a number of other swimming pools throughout Doncaster that are all still open during this time and our regular Dome swimmers will receive a warm welcome at all these venues.
“When the pool is reopened on 1ST December we hope that swimmers will enjoy a more pleasurable experience at the Dome.”
