Delivery driver’s van stolen - CCTV

SOUTH YORKSHIRE POLICE APPEAL. Police in Doncaster are trying to locate a man to help with enquiries after a van was stolen on Beckett Road on Thursday, 27 January. The driver of the white Citroen van was delivering bread in the area, and left the van unattended for a moment with the keys in the ignition. CCTV has captured a man walking round to the drivers side of the van, which is then seen to immediately drive off. Police are keen to trace this man to help them with their enquiries.Anybody who may recognise the man from the attached CCTV image is asked to contact Denise Dalrymple in the crime management unit on 01142 202020 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

A DELIVERY driver had his van stolen when he left his keys in the ignition.

Police have released this CCTV image of a man they would like to trace in connection with the theft which happened in Beckett Road, Wheatley, Doncaster.

The driver of a white Citroen van was delivering bread when the thief walked round to the driver’s door and drove off.

Officers are also warning motorists not to leave their vehicles unattended following the incident.

Police only released details about the incident which happened on Thursday, January 27, today.
