A dad-of-two attacked outside a Doncaster pub last month has now died, police revealed today.

Darron Januszkiewicz, aged 35, suffered life-threatening injuries following an attack outside the White Hart pub, High Street, Askern, at around 1.20am on Monday, May 30.

He was rushed to hospital where he remained in a critical condition until he died on Monday.

South Yorkshire Police said Mr Januszkiewicz was a local man with a wife and two small children.

James Harvey, 34, of Park Road, Askern, was charged with wounding after the attack.
