Isle residents are invited to learn more about the customs and traditions of the region at a heritage meeting next month.
Author Maureen Sutton will lead the talk at the Crowle and Ealand Heritage Society meeting at Crowle Community Hub, High Street, on Thursday, May 8, from 7.30pm.
The evening’s guest has written a book on regional folk lore called ‘A Lincolnshire Calendar’, which is all about county traditions and customs.
Angus Townley, society chair, said: “It should be an interesting evening as there are a lot of great stories to tell.
“We are always looking for new members. Everyone is welcome to come along.”
It costs £3 to attend.
