A DONCASTER woman has been jailed after breaching an anti-social behaviour order.

Elizabeth Cullen, 29, was slapped with the 15 weeks sentence after pleading guilty to breaching her ASBO after she was arrested for being drunk and causing a nuisance outside Doncaster Magistrates Court on June 10.

Cullen of Lime Tree Walk. Denaby, appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on June 11 in connection with the offence.

She was originally given her ASBO at the beginning of May after she was arrested in April for being drunk and abusive towards the public and police officers.

After the hearing PC Martin Smith from the anti-social behaviour team said breaches of such orders would not be tolerated.

He added: “This sentence sends out the clear message that if ASBOs are breached, a prison sentence can be expected. We will continue to crack down on individuals causing a nuisance to residents and visitors in Doncaster.”
