Three arrested in Doncaster drug raids

More than 260 cannabis plants were discovered during a police raid on a property in Hexthorpe, Doncaster, yesterday.

Officers from Doncaster found the drugs when they executed a warrant in Stoneclose Avenue. It was one of several carried out as part of an ongoing crackdown on crime in the area.

Cannabis and drug dealing paraphernalia were also recovered at an address in Shadyside where a 51-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and bailed pending further enquiries.

In Surrey Street, Balby, a quantity of crack cocaine and heroin was recovered along with a substantial amount of cash. A 38-year-old man has been charged with possession with intent to supply criminal property.

At a property in Regent Street, Balby, cocaine, cannabis and a quantity of cash was seized. A 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and bailed pending further enquiries.
