Thieves make off on road rollers from Doncaster sites

A yellow and black coloured BOMAG Road Roller, valued at �19,000, which was stolen from Travis St Lawrence Lower School on Cuckoo Lane, Hatfield.

Thieves are thought to have made off with a slow moving road roller after stealing it from a school site in Doncaster.

The vehicle, pictured, was stolen overnight on March 24 or March 25 from Travis St Lawrence Lower School, on Cuckoo Lane, Hatfield.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen it being driving away from the site.

It is the latest in the spate of thefts of rollers.

A roller was taken from Sandall Carr Road, Kirk Sandall, on Tuesday night, and another was taken from Woodfield Way, Balby, on Monday evening.
