A TEENAGER thug has been sent to custody after beating a woman while subject to a community order.
Weeks before Nathan Scott attacked Charlotte Blackwell he had been convicted of fraud, Doncaster Magistrates’ Court was told.
Scott, 18, of Penistone Street, near Doncaster town centre, pleaded guilty to assault following an altercation in the street where he lived on August 31.
It was the second time that the teenager had assaulted his victim,
Scott, who had previously been ordered to carry out unpaid community work was locked up in a young offenders’ institution for 20 weeks after magistrates heard he would refuse to comply with any court orders.
The bench decided that the 14 days he had spent on remand would count towards his sentence.
