This is the face of a man police want to speak to in connection with a sex attack in Doncaster.

Detectives investigating the serious sexual assault which took place in woodlands have released an e-fit of a man they would like to identify as he may hold vital information about the attack.

A woman in her 50s reported she had been assaulted by a man in woodland off Hungerhill Road in Edenthorpe at around 10.30am on Wednesday, June 3.

Detectives say they have stepped up patrols in the area and are following a number of leads.

Det Sgt Stuart Hall, investigating the attack, said: “The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers and I would urge anyone who believes they have information to please come forward.

“We are following up a number of enquiries and have extra police patrols and resources deployed into the area to provide a high visibility presence and offer reassurance to the community.”
