Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to about an alleged theft from a Doncaster supermarket.
The incident is believed to have occurred on Monday, May 6, at approximately 3.35pm when a customer using the self-scan till, at the ASDA supermarket on Bawtry Road in Doncaster, requested cash back.
But the customer left the shop, forgetting to collect the money from the dispenser. When they returned to the till, the money was gone.
Police would like to speak to the man in the image, as he may be able to assist with the investigation. He is described as white, approximately 28 to 30-years-old, of average build with short brown hair.
It is the latest in a spate of similar thefts from Doncaster supermarkets where absent-minded customers have left cash or purses at self-serve checkouts.
