Red Rum cast damaged in burglary near Doncaster Racecourse

A number of unique jackets have been stolen during a burglary at Doncaster Bloodstock Sales

It is reported that three men entered the premises in Sandall Beat Road and stole a number of items including electrical equipment.

It is also reported that a bronze cast of famous racehorse Red Rum was damaged during the incident.

A 34-year-old man has been charged with burglary and has appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court.

Doncaster detectives are appealing for information on the burglary, which occurred between 2.50am and 4.30am on October 16.
