police are looking for a man who has absconded from an open prison in Doncaster.
Daniel O’Loughlin, from Wokingham in the Thames Valley, failed to return to HMP Hatfield on Monday, July 18, after he was given temporary release for a work placement in the community.
The 35-year-old was serving the final period of a prison sentence he received for his role in an organised crime group that committed a series of high-profile and high-value burglaries at large country houses across central and western England.
He was jailed for his part in the conspiracy in August 2008 and in May 2010 a court ordered him to pay back £113,000 he gained from criminal activity.
Thames Valley Police say he does not pose a direct threat to the public.
