Police have launched a search for a woman in connection with an alleged theft from a young mum at Goldthorpe.

A 25-year-old woman from Bolton reported having her ‘Destiny’ bag stolen while she was shopping in Goldthorpe’s Asda store with her two young children at about 2pm on March 25.

Her bag containing a Galaxy Note mobile phone worth £300, clothing and Easter eggs, was found to be missing after its owner left the shop.

Police have released a description and CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to about the incident.

She is described as being white and about 5ft 5ins tall of medium build, with light brown or blonde hair, which is possibly bleached. It is believed she was wearing a grey jacket with half length sleeves, a white long sleeved top, black trousers and black shoes.
