Police issue E-fit after attempted robbery in Doncaster

Police in Doncaster are appealing to the public to assist in identifying a man suspected of an attempted robbery.

On October 8, at around 6.15am, a 42-year-old woman was walking along Dublin Road in Intake on her way to work.

As she approached the roundabout on Dublin Road, an unknown man jumped out in front of her and demanded she hand over her handbag.

The woman refused and ran away sustaining an injury to her right leg.

The man is not believed to have followed her. He is described as white, of a thin build and approximately 20-years-old.

He was wearing a dark hooded top with the hood up and a black long sleeved coat that appeared to be made of a thick material. He was also wearing jeans and white trainers.
