Two more people have been charged with assisting an offender in connection with the alleged murder of Andrew Massarella, aged 40, who died in a Doncaster house fire last Christmas.

Zena Maria Hancock, aged 44, of Highbury Avenue, Cantley, and a 16-year-old Cantley girl – who cannot be named for legal reasons – are due to appear at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court today.

Jay Griffiths, the man charged with the murder of Mr Massarella at his home in Callendar Court, is next due in Sheffield Crown Court in December.
