Police in Leicestershire are growing concerned for the welfare of a 53-year-old man who has been missing for a week.

Rodney Greenhill has not been seen since 1pm on Wednesday March 16 when he left his home in Leicester in his blue Vauxhall Vectra.

The car has since been sighted the West Midlands, Yorkshire and Staffordshire area but Rodney has not been in contact with anyone.

It is out of character for him to go missing for long periods of time and his family and officers want to know he is safe and well.

Have you seen him? Have you seen a blue Vectra with a registration number starting with KH53? Do you know where Rodney is?

Rodney is white, about 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build, has shaven grey hair and wears glasses. He also has extensive tattoos on his left and right arm.

He was last seen wearing black trousers a cream coloured fleece and black work boots.

If you have seen Rodney, or have any information that could help officers locate him, call 101.
