Five men on trial for the brutal murder of a Doncaster dad have admitted to his manslaughter.
Rafal Palinski and four others had been on trial at Sheffield Crown Court accused of the murder father-of-one Adam Szurgocinski because they wrongly thought he had stolen from them the proceeds of their drug dealing.
A burglar had broken into the home of co-accused Mateusz Halabura, who lives on Jubilee Road, Wheatley, Doncaster, and taken almost £3,000 in cash along with a bike and a large quantity of cannabis.
Mr Szurgocinski and a friend, Dariusz Bogusz, knew the men through illegal drugs circles as both were street dealers in amphetamines.
The jury at the trial have been told that the five men have now admitted to the manslaughter of Mr Szurgocinski.
The attack took place on the morning of September 14 last year.
Rafal Palinski, aged 29, of Fenland Road, Thorne, Jaroslaw Owczarczyk, 20, of Raby Road, Sebastian Mariusz Gurski, 30, of Ramsden Road, and Mateusz Halabura, 25, and Pawel Wegorzewski, 20, both of Jubilee Road, all deny murder.
The men are due to be sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court on Wednesday.
