Two yobs in balaclavas launched a terrifying attack on a family home in Doncaster, smashing windows with an axe and damaging a car.
Two men broke the windows at the front of the house and a car parked in the driveway on Toft Stead in the Armthorpe area of Doncaster on Monday night.
After they had carried out the damage, they got into a car before fleeing from the scene.

He said: “At about 6.15pm it was reported that two men, who were both wearing face coverings, damaged the windows of a property in Toft Stead before causing further damage to a parked car.
“Officers investigating the incident believe that the offenders drove away from the area in a silver Ford Mondeo after they were confronted by a neighbour.”
One of the men is described as being about 5ft 8ins, of medium build and wearing a red balaclava with a green Christmas tree pattern on.
