Man punched and kicked in head on night out in South Yorkshire

A man was punched and kicked in the head by a gang of three men on a night out in South Yorkshire.

The 27-year-old had just left the Harlequin pub in King Edward Road, Thorne and was walking along Upper Kenyon Street when he was attacked at 12.20am on Saturday, April 25.

Police said the man was taken to hospital for treatment for facial injuries.

No motive for the attack has been given.

Witnesses to the assault or anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 22 of April 25.
