Man arrested after Lazarus Court attack

A man has been arrested after a 23-year-old was left with life threatening injuries following an assault in a Doncaster party street.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old man following reports of an assault in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday August 16).

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after he was found unconscious in Lazarus Court, Doncaster at about 3.30am.

He currently remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and currently remains in police custody.
